PASSIVE INCOME

Get paid to search with Presearch

Do you know that as a freelancer, digital marketer or even some average Joe who spends time online, you can earn a few bucks for searches you make online? This post will show you in 3 simple steps how you can get paid to search with Presearch

Presearch is a decentralized search engine that pays you in its token known as “PRE” to search the web. If you’re not familiar with the crypto economy, the whole “decentralized” and “PRE” part may not make much sense to you but no worries, I’m pretty sure that you’ll get the hang of it and how to convert it to money after reading this post.

How to get paid to search with Presearch in 3 simple steps

Step 1: Register with Presearch

Presearch is a new decentralized search engine; just picture Google or Bing, well yeah…Presearch is quite like any of these. It only differs in that it’s a blockchain based search engine.

Signing up is easy, simply head over to the Presearch page, it looks just like this:

At the page, a form would pop up requesting your username and password as you’ll see below:

If you’ve previously registered on the platform, simply enter your username and password in the spaces provided and hit “login”! Else, click the “Create Account” button at the bottom of the form.

Clicking the “Create Account” button will give you something like this:

Enter your email address and a suitable password, confirm the password and check your mail (inbox or spam) for a confirmation link that would be sent. It’s usually instant but if it delays, no problem, wait for it, it’ll come.

Confirm your email by clicking the link and voila! you’re now a paid beta tester of the Presearch search engine.

Step 2: Set your search result preferences

Now that you are a beta tester of the Persearch platform, you’ll be able to set where your search results come from, that’s the good thing with Presearch. So, if for instance, you’d love to have Google search results (same results you’ll receive when you search directly with Google), you can simply set your “search provider” to Google. Other search providers included in Presearch search are; Wikipedia, Amazon, Facebook, Yelp, Presearch Engine and 82 more!

Step 3: Search all you want!

Now you can search and search and search and get paid in the process!

How to search

As a paid beta tester, you can either visit the Presearch search engine on Presearch.org and use the search box provided as you’ll see below:

Or, you can set your browser home page and new tab page to Presearch on Google chrome and use the search box as shown above.

The following conditions however apply:

  1. You are entitled to a maximum of 8 PRE tokens a day (PRE is the native currency of the Presearch platform; it is a tradeable token and each currently goes for $0.11).
  2. You receive 0.25PRE per search. With a total of 8PRE a day and 0.25PRE per search, it means you can only do 32 paid searches a day.
  • You can get disqualified if you have a “high risk profile”, i.e. if you are gaming the system for the reward tokens.

Withdrawing your earning

For now, the minimum withdrawal amount is 1,000PRE (That’s an awful lot, right?). Well, not worries, from my chat with an online rep, subsequently, withdrawal will be possible for those with less than 1,000PRE…well, that’s great news!

What’s also good is that the PRE team have in place a referral system that gives you and everyone you invite 25 bonus tokens each!
